Pregnancy Transition Support

My Story

Driven by both the current political climate and a deep commitment to advocating for vulnerable populations, I felt called to more intentionally support women in safe, affirming ways. I strongly believe in a woman’s right to autonomy over her own body and, as a Human Rights Consultant, remain dedicated to upholding and advocating for those rights.

This commitment led me to the Colorado Doula Project, where I completed Abortion Doula Training. In this role, I provide nonjudgmental, compassionate care, support, and advocacy—centering safety, dignity, and personal choice. I am open to meeting individuals wherever they are in their journey, offering inclusive, person-centered support grounded in respect and understanding.

I also hold professional certifications in Violence Prevention & Awareness and Mindful Relationships, which further inform my approach and strengthen my commitment to creating safe, supportive spaces. I am dedicated to being part of a solution that ensures individuals feel empowered, respected, and fully supported in their choices.

Services are thoughtfully tailored and offered based on each individual’s unique needs, with availability and scope determined on a case-by-case basis to ensure the highest level of care.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does an abortion doula do?

I provide emotional support, education, preparation, and aftercare guidance. This can include helping you understand what to expect, being present with you during your experience (in-person or virtually), and offering space to process before and after.

Do you provide medical care or advice?

No. I do not provide medical care or replace a licensed healthcare provider. My role is supportive and educational, helping you feel informed and emotionally supported alongside your medical care.

Who is this service for?

This support is for anyone who wants a client-centered, autonomy-focused, and nonjudgmental presence during their abortion experience — whether you feel confident, uncertain, overwhelmed, or simply want support.

Every experience is different, and my role is to support you in a way that aligns with your needs, your pace, and your values — whether that looks like talking things through, sitting quietly with you, helping you prepare, or supporting you in your space as a mobile provider.

When should I reach out for support?

You can reach out at any point — before making a decision, while planning, during your abortion, or afterward. Support is available wherever you are in your process.

Do I have to be sure about my decision to work with you?

No. You do not need to have everything figured out. I can hold space for uncertainty and help you process your thoughts in a nonjudgmental way.

What does support during a transition out of pregnancy look like?

This depends entirely on your needs. It may include grounding support, reassurance, quiet presence, helping you stay comfortable, or simply being there so you don’t feel alone. It may include advocating for you in a medical space or any other space.

What if I just need someone to talk to?

That is absolutely enough. Support does not have to look a certain way — you are welcome to reach out simply for connection, reassurance, or space to process. I can also refer you to other agencies or offer resources for more support if you wish.

Is transition out of pregnancy support only emotional?

While emotional support is a core part of my role, I also provide practical guidance, preparation support, and aftercare suggestions to help you feel more grounded and informed.

Can you come to me?

Yes. As a mobile provider, I offer support in your home or a space where you feel most safe and comfortable, when appropriate and agreed upon.

Will my information be kept private?

Yes. Your privacy is respected. I hold your information and experience with discretion, care, and confidentiality.

*However, support services are not covered by HIPPA so if I were ever to have my records subpoenaed, I would legally have to hand them over. In order to maintain my commitment to confidentiality, I offer the option to use a pseudonym in place of your government name.
