About Energi.Ease
Energi.Ease Healing Services was founded on the understanding that everything is interconnected—and that care for the whole person sometimes requires more than one approach. Our emotional well-being, physical bodies, environments, relationships, identities, experiences, and communities all influence the way we move through the world.
Energi.Ease has grown into an integrative practice offering support across holistic wellness, education, advocacy, human rights, and life's transitions. Services include Reiki and sound healing, cannabis consultation and education, abortion doula and pregnancy transition support, human rights consultation and training, and inclusive wedding officiating.
While these services may seem different on the surface, they are connected by the same values: autonomy, informed choice, consent, compassion, accessibility, inclusion, and respect for the whole person.
I bring both professional education and lived experience to this work. My background includes training and credentials in Reiki, sound healing, yoga, medical cannabis, human rights, violence prevention and awareness, mindful relationships, and abortion doula care. I am also an ordained minister and a professional member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals (IARP). Rather than approaching these areas as separate pieces of who I am or what I offer, Energi.Ease allows me to bring them together through a holistic, trauma-informed, person-centered approach.
At the heart of my practice is the belief that you are the expert on your own life. My role is not to tell you what healing should look like, what decisions you should make, or who you should become. My role is to offer education, resources, compassionate presence, practical support, and opportunities for rest and connection while respecting your right to decide what feels appropriate for you.
Energi.Ease now has a dedicated studio designed with comfort and nervous-system support in mind. Soft lighting, calming sounds, intentional ambiance, comfortable furnishings, and sensory considerations help create an environment where you can slow down and feel supported. Sessions and the environment itself can be adapted whenever possible around individual preferences, boundaries, accessibility, and sensory needs.
Consent is central to everything I do. It is ongoing, can change at any time, and is never assumed. Whether you are receiving Reiki, experiencing sound healing, discussing cannabis, navigating a pregnancy transition, learning about human rights, or creating a ceremony that reflects your relationship, your voice remains at the center of the experience.
Energi.Ease also recognizes that healing does not always mean fixing something. Sometimes it means resting. Sometimes it means learning. Sometimes it means being witnessed, finding the information you need, advocating for yourself, making a difficult decision, celebrating a new chapter, or simply having a place where you do not need to explain who you are.
This is a space for all—where your identity is respected, your autonomy is honored, your boundaries matter, and you are welcomed exactly as you are.
About Abigail Zavala
For me, this work is both professional and deeply personal. I am a parent, educator, advocate, holistic practitioner, and someone who understands through lived experience how important it is to have compassionate people beside you during the complicated parts of being human. Throughout every part of my work, I keep returning to the same principles: people deserve to be heard, informed, respected, supported, and trusted with their own lives.
My professional foundation began in public education, where I have worked since 2012 supporting children, adolescents, and families with a particular focus on behavioral, emotional, and social needs. Early in my career, I found myself especially drawn to students who had experienced adversity. That led me to study Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), trauma, resilience, emotional regulation, and the ways our environments and relationships can influence well-being.
Over the years, I have worked within collaborative environments using trauma-informed, relationship-based, and solution-focused approaches. My training has included Life Space Crisis Intervention, Nurtured Heart, Conscious Discipline, Mental Health First Aid, Resilience & Psychological First Aid, the Be There Certificate, and certification as a Connections Matter ACEs Trainer through the Iowa AEA. I have also completed professional development in areas including integrative behavioral health, brain health, stress management, mindful relationships, violence prevention and awareness, and healing environments for body, mind, and spirit.
My education has extended beyond traditional behavioral and emotional support into human rights, holistic wellness, reproductive support, and cannabis education. I hold Human Rights certification through the U.S. Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights and have completed specialized abortion doula training through the Colorado Doula Project. I am also a Medical Cannabis Specialist Associate, with education through Black Hawk College and Green Flower, allowing me to provide cannabis education and consultation from an informed, stigma-free perspective.
My path into holistic practice grew naturally from this foundation. After personally experiencing the impact that intentional sound and restorative practices could have, I pursued formal training in sound healing and Reiki. I am trained in Level 1 Sound Healing through the Sound Healing Academy, practice Holy Fire Reiki Level II, and have additional education in holistic and integrative health and healing environments. I am also a yoga teacher, allowing me to incorporate breath, mindful movement, grounding, and body awareness when those practices are appropriate and desired.
I am proud to be a Professional Member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals (IARP) and to incorporate the professionalism, compassion, ethical practice, and continued learning represented by that membership into the Reiki services I provide.
Although my credentials span several disciplines, I don't see these areas as disconnected. Education taught me the importance of understanding behavior in context. Trauma-informed practice taught me to ask what a person has experienced rather than make assumptions about them. Human-rights education strengthened my commitment to dignity and autonomy. Reproductive support reinforced the importance of simply being present without judgment. Cannabis education showed me how damaging stigma and misinformation can be. Reiki, sound, yoga, and other holistic practices taught me the value of slowing down and creating space for the body and mind to rest.
Energi.Ease is where those pieces come together.
My approach is holistic, trauma-informed, consent-centered, and deeply person-centered. I believe professional education matters, and I also believe lived experience matters. I believe evidence and intuition can coexist. I believe advocacy and healing are connected. And most importantly, I believe the person sitting in front of me remains the expert on their own body, experiences, identity, needs, and life.
I am not here to define healing for you or tell you what your journey should look like. I am here to bring the knowledge, tools, resources, and experience I have gathered—and then meet you where you are.
Whether I am holding space during a Reiki session, creating a sound experience, answering questions about cannabis, providing support through a pregnancy transition, teaching about human rights, working with families, or helping create a ceremony that authentically reflects two people, my intention remains the same:
to offer informed, compassionate support while protecting your dignity, honoring your autonomy, and making room for you to be fully yourself.
"When all your energies are brought into harmony, your body flourishes. And when your body flourishes, you soul has a soil in which it can blossom in the world."
